This
is one of the prettiest areas of Cornwall, much of the coast is
protected by the National Trust and still unspoilt. The peninsula
is bound by the sea on one side and on the other by the Fal estuary.
There are lovely coastal walks and many safe sandy beaches.
Things
to do
You can enjoy watching the sailing
from the picturesque village of St Mawes then take a stroll along
the front and visit Henry VIII’s castle or take the ferry
to Falmouth and visit the National Maritime Museum.
The
Gardens
The
Eden Project and Lost Garden’s of Heligan are within a half
hour drive and a trip on the King Harry ferry takes you to Trelissick
Gardens (NT) and on the city of Truro.

It
is also an excellent centre for exploring Cornwall. We are less
than an hour’s drive from Padstow, St Ives, St Michael’s
Mount (NT), and Lanhydrock House (NT).
